What a long day.  I’m sitting in the LAX / American Airlines terminal waiting for my flight to visit my Mom and Elliot in Florida.  The day started with an early press check and a series of back and forth trips to the plant.  All this is good, but it’s 11:00 and I’m on a red eye.  Did I prepare accordingly?  I did.. I hard boiled 2 eggs to bring with me ( unfortunately I left them in the fridge) , brought my Klean Kanteen  (saving on the plastic) and brought some Lara Bars.. this will work.   I intend on sleeping the whole flight.

I don’t know what happened this week when it came to exercise.  I actually feel really good, but for some reason, I wasn’t able to make it in one time to Crossfit – I wanted to go this morning, but as I mentioned before, work.  The workout was to partner up with someone and the two of you would row 6000 meters, I’m so bummed I didn’t make it.

If anyone knows me, they know I love Asian food of any kind.  I’ve been having a serious craving for curry.  Tonight I found an awesome recipe that allowed me to appease cravings.  Have a look at the recipe.  Everyone in the house loved it (or they said they did anyway)

Meal 1: ate later than usual – went to Green Tomato Grill…   

Meal 2 : Lean ground beef with salad / tomatoes, cucumber – water

Meal 3 Paleo Curry with cauliflower “fried” rice. – Kombucha

 

 

Exercise:

Yesterday my new VivoFit from Garmin arrived.  I’m seeing the amount of steps I do each day along with reviewing my sleeping patterns.  I also had an old Garmin 305 runner, i’m able to use my heart rate monitor

I moved over 5 miles today – walking.  that’s all I’ve got.

 

off to Florida..
