What a day!! Most important:  another Saturday has passed and I am going full speed ahead.  It’s getting easier!   10:30pm, I’m at the kitchen table listening to The Waterboys, Fisherman’s Blues playing in my ear.  I love this song!!!

I have nothing negative to report, no moments of weakness today.  I was concerned because of the social activities that we had going on but I planned ahead just incase I wouldn’t find anything that was compliant and I was able to power through the afternoon with flying colors.

Speaking of colors, PINK in particular, today I met with my Avon 39 group (Walkers for Knockers) out in West Covina.  If anyone knows me, they know that I’m always up for a new challenge (hence the reason I’m writing this blog)  so when I decided that I wanted to raise money to help find a cure for Breast Cancer, I signed immediately.  Like many things I do, I jump in head first.  I had another friend who joined me and, long story short, we were put in touch with someone else who invited us to join in on their group.  I’m very excited to be a part of this adventure with these ladies who have the same goal.  Each of these people I’ll be walking with have been affected by Breast Cancer one way or another. I have and no doubt you know someone who’s either had it and recovered… or hasn’t, thing is, 1 in 8 women will get Breast Cancer.   I think about that every time I’m in a room full of women, I count and wonder who it could be, will it be me?   I won’t use this as a platform to raise money, but i will give you an opportunity should you want to help…. CLICK HERE.. I’d be incredibly grateful for your donation.  I’ll walk for you – 39 miles in two days!

So, to the rest of the day.  Curling?  Who knew it would be so much fun!!  Had a great time, if you haven’t tried, I recommend at least once.  This picture is Left to Right, Sean, myself, Kevin Flessing and Heather Flessing. lots of fun

On to the good stuff.  FOOD…

Triumph: In and Out

Meal 1 – Scrambled egg (in coconut spray) avocado

Meal 2 – 1 hb egg, fruit, roast beef, a little more fruit (watermelon) There was Nothing Bundt Cakes at the party – I resisted.

Meal 3 – In and Out Double Double.. no bread, no cheese, no sauces, only grilled onions with lettuce and tomato.  It was Whole 30 Compliant and it was delicious.  (I almost felt guilty for eating it).
